Eaton House The Manor Preparatory - Mr Sebastian Hepher B. Ed Hons
Sebastian joined Eaton House Group of Schools as a Yr 3 Class Teacher in September 1990 after teaching in the state system in London and Kent for several years. He too was also educated in London and obtained his teaching Degree from the specialist educational College of Education, Avery Hill.
As a Class Teacher at Eaton House Belgravia, Mr Hepher taught all subjects and soon found the challenges of the London Day system to be enormously rewarding and stimulating. In 1992 Mr Hepher was approached to lead the opening of Eaton House The Manor Preparatory School on Clapham Common, and was appointed to the position of Deputy Headmaster.
Within three years, with numbers rising steadily and Public School success on the horizon, Mr Hepher was appointed to the position of Headmaster in 1996. Under his guidance and leadership Eaton House The Manor Preparatory School has grown to be one of the leading Prep Schools in London. Boys move on to the best Public Schools in the country and places at 8 for Yr 4 entry are fiercely sought.
Mr Hepher spends considerable time managing his school and developing close links with all major UK schools. He has led many Prep Heads forums and is involved in developing links with other boys' schools across the world. Mr Hepher is married with four children. The eldest is at Roedean, the other three are all currently at Eaton House The Manor.
