Eaton House Belgravia School
The Curriculum is set over a four year period with an emphasis on the core academic subjects of Arithmetic and English. It also encompasses Science, Reasoning, History, Geography, Religious Studies, ICT, Drama, Library Studies, Art/DT, Music and Games. Chess lessons are introduced in Years Two and Three.
Preparation for 7+ and 8+ examinations is integral with Homework supporting this. Homework is set from Kindergarten in the form of reading exercises with a more formalized approach from Year One.
Academic subjects are taught by form teachers with specialist teachers in Music, Games, Science and French.
Learning support is available throughout the School. The School has a full-time SENCO and in addition, external specialists help with individual lessons and work closely with form teachers to advise on any differentiation required within the class. The School has strong links with an Educational Psychologist who is actively involved with boys' needs and progress.
