Eaton House Manor Nursery Summer Term Newsletter

Thursday, April 18th, 2013

Dear Parents,

A very warm welcome to you all, I hope you had a lovely Easter! We are looking forward to the busy and
hopefully sunny term ahead. The calendar for the term is attached. Dates of note are: Parents’ Evening on Thursday 20th June 5.00 – 7.00pm, our fete on Wednesday 26th June and Sports Day on Tuesday 9th July.

We would like to welcome Miss Helena to the Yellow Room who will be with us for the term from the Girls’ School.

Guinea Pigs
The Girls’ School guinea pigs are coming to visit while the building works are in progress. We will be looking for a home for them every holiday. Please see Miss Sarah in the Yellow Room if you would like to have them to stay.

Communication
We have an open door policy where you are very welcome to speak to the class teacher and assistants for
a few minutes each day. Please arrange a different time for something that might take longer to discuss.
The majority of correspondence will be emailed to one parent so please keep us informed of any address
changes and let me know as soon as possible if the family is not receiving emails from us.

Sign In Sheets
We will no longer be asking you to sign your child in and out every day. This will now be the responsibility of the class teacher. Please make sure your child shakes hands with their teacher or an assistant in the room when entering and leaving every day so that we know they have left with you, or their designated carer.

Volunteers
The children love to share their time at nursery with a close relative. We appreciate any volunteers who
would like to come and read to the children, help out with cooking, swimming or out of school visits so do contact your child’s teacher if you feel you have something to offer.

If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to come and see me.

Kind regards,

Miss Roosha
