What is ASMR?
ASMR (Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response) refers to a tingling or pins an needles sensation that occurs on the scalp and the back of the neck and back. It is a pleasant sensation that aids relaxation and is most commonly triggered by visual, or more likely, auditory stimuli.
There are numerous ASMR videos available of YouTube but here we have shared some links as a starting point:
Relaxation with Headspace
Headspace shared Instagram Live sessions with special guests for a limited time that will be available on YouTube very shortly. Why not set aside 10 minutes of your day to explore a short meditation and make use of a great offer. They are also providing Monster Meditation featuring the Cookie Monster from Sesame Street, you'll find it on the @sesamestreet Instagram page.
Relaxation Sessions with Paula Kearney
We are currently exploring the possibility of hosting live relaxation sessions on this platform, for the whole community.
These will also be recorded and shared so they can be used at any time. We’ll keep you posted but in the meantime please log into https://mindfulnessinschools.org/misp-sit-together/ for a daily meditation at 11am or click on the links below for some short pre-recorded practices from our Head of Wellbeing, Ms Paula Kearney:
