We are an unashamedly academic school for girls, yet we are warm, friendly and inclusive. The Good Schools Guide commented on a lovely feeling of ‘girl power’ about the place. We are proud of this year’s 30 Scholarships and Award offers in Academics, Music, Sport and Art, yet we are equally proud that all of our leavers are academically successful, kind, caring and team-spirited. • Our Head Mrs Fildes has always wanted the girls to feel that the sky is the limit and that they can achieve anything – and exceptional pastoral care allows them to believe that.
• The youngest girls enter the school at 4+ from our co-educational Nursery and other nurseries, and are immediately allocated a ‘big sister’ who is there to support them in all aspects of school life. Girls join our Nursery at 2+.
• We have a strong framework of pastoral care, formed of a Head of Wellbeing, visible senior management, dedicated form tutors and a supportive House system.
• Eaton House The Manor Girls leave for a range of top schools, including St Paul’s Girls’ School, JAGS, Woldingham and Wycombe Abbey, and we make learning fun from Reception.
• It’s important to us that the classroom environment feels peaceful and relaxed, but stimulating. This settles even the youngest girls happily.
• A recent ISI report commented that diversity and inclusion are ‘openly celebrated’. We want girls to feel that the school is ‘home’ from the first day.
• Our girls enjoy PE, Games and sport and we are often successful in tournaments because of our grit. The youngest pupils love games too.
• Music and drama play a huge part in school life, with lots of opportunity for performing together. Our Bel Canto group are renowned competition winners.
• Music and drama are key in building the girls’ confidence. In the spring term of 2024 our Senior Music Concert had 37 different instrumentalists and singers.
• A broad and exciting education is available from Reception Class. Mrs Fildes encourages STEAM learning and wants girls to be ambitious about the future.
• The school offers wraparound care from Reception to 6.30pm with a home from home atmosphere and snacks and lots of after-school clubs.

Eaton House The Manor Girls’ School Open Houses are held on Wednesdays throughout the term, 9.00am to 10.30am. Parents are escorted to the theatre by senior pupils and welcomed with refreshments. The Open House begins with a presentation by Headmistress, Mrs Claire Fildes, followed by a school tour with members of the senior management team.

The Open House begins with presentations by Mrs Sarah Segrave, Headmistress of the Prep School, and Mr David Wingfield, Headmaster of the Pre-Prep School. This is followed by a school tour with members of the senior management team.​
