As my time at Eaton House comes to an end, I look back to see how far I have come in the past seven years. I am so proud of the timeless friendships and unique memories I have made along the way. My journey was never boring. It felt like a looping and twisting thread, yet moving upwards, filled with moments of excitement, hard work and with some challenges too.
Every step of the way, my family and teachers were behind me, letting me find my way through highs and lows. They saw potential in me even when I didn’t and their encouragement shaped my confidence, resilience and voice. I’ll always carry the warmth, patience and belief they poured into me through it all, and so I have found myself embracing every opportunity that life and school have to offer, with fun and determination, sometimes-facing setbacks, but always moving forward with greater strides.
From being a gold medallist at the egg and spoon race in KG to gymnastics regional champion and then Millennium scholar for Sport, Art and Choral, this is just the beginning of another adventure and I just can’t wait to start at Brighton College! From the first time I set foot at the College, I felt like I belonged. I could feel the energy all around and I was mesmerised by the science laboratories, the incredible dance studio and the theatre. Above all, what truly inspired me were the teachers with their contagious passion about their subjects and students so excited to learn, and everyone being so kind.
Being chosen as a Millennium Scholar is a tremendous honour for me and a celebration of every laugh, every dream and all the hard work that led me here. Thank you Eaton House for everything you have done to help me and to Brighton College for giving me this great opportunity.
