World Book Day was celebrated in style at Eaton House The Manor as usual with a creative cast of characters that included a number of ‘Harry Potters’ from the J.K. Rowling series, and ‘Peter Rabbit’ and ‘Mopsy’ from Beatrix Potter. Even the Faraway Tree by Enid Blyton rustled into view!

Mr. Alejandro led the way in the Pre-Prep School ‘Character Parade’ as Roald Dahl’s BFG, and the Girls’ School became the Smurf’s Village for the day. The teachers dressed up as Smurfs, with Headmaster Oliver Snowball and Deputy Head Kirsten Bond as ‘Papa Smurf’ and ‘Smurfette.’

Eaton House The Manor Girls’ School also boasted a selection of ‘twin’ costumes with ‘Puck’ and ‘Bottom’ from Shakespeare’s A Midsummer’s Night Dream, and ‘Alice’ and the ‘Cheshire Cat’ from Lewis Carroll’s Alice in Wonderland
