Our Year 6 Girls dressed in remembrance of the 75th Anniversary of the D-Day Landings. Evacuees, the Womens’ Land Army, and even a fighter pilot were among the class. They packed their bags for evacuation with pictures of family and any basic comforts they could fit in their shoebox satchels. They shared their thoughts, told family stories, and remembered the sacrifice of all those who fought in the Second World War.
