The rhythm of African djembes took hold of The Manor Prep School yesterday when the boys were fortunate enough to experience an African drumming workshop.
It was the perfect excuse for all the boys to let loose musically, learning valuable skills whilst playing in an ensemble and learning how to keep to a beat with others Jewel-coloured African drums, syncopated rhythms, musical teamwork and the chance to make loud and joyous post-exam noise — the Prep School African Drumming Workshop had the lot!
