Eaton House The Manor is delighted to announce that Rehaan S. has won a prestigious John Colet Scholarship to St Paul’s School for Boys – the highest academic honour for the school. We asked him a few questions about how he felt at such an incredible moment.

1. How did you feel when you won the John Colet Scholarship? How did you celebrate?

I was absolutely delighted and so grateful that my hard work had paid off. I celebrated with a family holiday to Northumberland, where I was greeted by puffins and other magnificent migratory birds. Being in nature is my greatest passion.

2. Were the exams challenging? How did you feel you had done?

The exams were certainly challenging, but I felt confident thanks to the expert teaching I had received and the dedication that I had put into my preparation. I was relieved once they were over and hopeful that I had done my best.

3. What are your favourite subjects at school?

Science is my favourite subject, especially Biology and Chemistry. I also enjoy Geography, particularly physical geography and learning how landscapes evolve through different processes. Not to forget English, as I love analysing poetry and prose.

4. What clubs and sports do you enjoy?

I especially enjoy the Model UN Club, and my favourite sport is cricket. I have played with the same team since the age of eight, and I value the teamwork that the game encourages.

5. What are you looking forward to at St Paul’s?

I am looking forward to forming lifelong friendships and being part of a supportive, inspiring community. I also cannot wait to explore the wide range of opportunities that St Paul’s offers, to help me grow both academically and personally.

6. What will you miss about Eaton House The Manor?

I will miss my wonderful teachers who have gone out of their way to inspire, nurture, and support me. I will also miss the tight-knit environment and the strong friendships I have built over the years.
